Jody is a film director with 24 years experience in commercial, documentary and feature filmmaking. Trained in the cutting rooms in London, he went onto work worldwide on numerous international campaigns as both film editor and VFX supervisor, before making the transition to director in 1993. Storytelling and performance driven material are his strengths. His work has earned a variety of prestigious awards (in both advertising and the feature film industry) and his short films have been officially selected in 29 international film festivals, including four that were accredited by the "Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences" for Oscar nomination. In addition to his abilities on set, his writing has also earned much praise, earning an AFI nomination for his 14 minute film BARELY VISIBLE . In 2006, he directed an episode of Bryan Brown's TWO TWISTED drama series, entitled FINDING FRANK. It starred Garry McDonald and Steve Bisley and was broadcast prime time in the opening episode. Originally aired on Australia's Nine Network, it went on to be sold to Hallmark Channel International. DYING BREED, his debut feature, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April last year and has just been released by Lionsgate across the States.
